From Feb. 25 to 26, SEPCOIII organized a series of donations to a number of hospitals in Qingdao and the Qingdao Center for Disease Control and Prevention, with the total donation of 460,000 RMB and the condole goods of 200,000 RMB. Mr. Sun Qili, the Deputy Party Secretary, Discipline Inspection Commission and Labor Union President, attended the donation ceremony on behalf of SEPCOIII.

On the morning of Feb. 25, SEPCOIII representatives went to the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University and Qingdao Municipal Hospital to hold the donation activity. Mr. Dong Qian, the President of the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, and Ms. Liu Shuangmei, the Discipline Inspection Commission President of the Qingdao Municipal Hospital, respectively accepted the donation on behalf of the hospital and expressed their deep gratitude for SEPCOIII’s respect to the frontline medical workers.

On Feb. 26, SEPCOIII and the Qingdao Federation of Trade Unions sent the urgent living supplies to the members of the Qingdao Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Qingdao Chest Hospital who have been fighting on the front line of epidemic prevention and control. Mr. Gao Ruqin and Mr. Wang Jun, respectively accepted the donation on behalf of the unit. Mr. Zhou Xinguo, the Vice President of Qingdao Federation of Trade Unions, Mr. Wang Dayou, the Vice President of Qingdao Family Planning Association, and Ms. Xing Yingchun, the President of Qingdao Medical Trade Unions attended the donation activity.

Sturdy grass withstands high winds and true gold stands the test of fire. Medical team members from Qingdao leave for Hubei Province to help fight against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak there. Medical workers have raced against time and spared no effort to fight against the epidemic. This is both a crisis and a big test for us, and no victory should be lightly announced until there is a complete win. The Chinese nation has in recent history faced down all kinds of hardships. On Feb. 20, SEPCOIII made the work arrangement to hold the donation activities to the medical workers. By working more closely with the international community and continuing to nurture economic and social development, the country and its people will come out of this formidable test even stronger.
